               Course Objectives:
 

  Preparation: It is expected that the student will spend at least two hours of study outside class for
  each in-class hour (50 minute session). This will involve reading assignments in the course text
  and laboratory exercises.

Information Literacy Assignments: The computer field changes rapidly. The only way to keep up with the field is to read technical literature as well as popular newspapers and magazines. You will be given assignments during the semester related to our need to keep pace with the field.

Tutoring Services: Please be aware that Sullivan County Community College provides tutoring for all students free of charge. It is expected that many of the students in this course will use the tutoring services. You may make appointments at the Center for Learning Assistance near the Library.
